How Much Cash Back Do I Get?

The amount that you get from your cash back will depend on the lender in question. Some providers offer larger commissions than others, but we'll be able to tell you what to expect during the application process.
As a general rule, the banks pay 0.65% of the loan amount as an upfront commission and anything between 0.15% - 0.30% per year in trailing commissions on the loan amount outstanding. Because trailing commissions are paid to us monthly, they'll also be sent to you on a monthly basis.

How Do I Receive My Cash Back?

The cash back that you've earned from working with us will be with you within 60 days of your home loan settlement. The reason for this waiting time is this is exactly how long it can take for us to receive our payment.
Once you've got your percentage of the initial commission, your trailing commissions will be paid to you each month, and deposited into your nominated bank account. There are no annoying forms to fill in. It couldn't be simpler.

Can You Help Me Compare Loans?

Yes, absolutely! We're still a full service mortgage broker business, which means that we do everything a standard mortgage broker would do with more, you get 50% of the income we receive. We'll help you find the best deals on the market, and be with you throughout your application and beyond!

Do I Have to Pay anything?

No! We're about giving you the money you need back from your mortgage. That means that you don't have to pay any money. Basically, when you work with us, we split our income with you 50/50.

You get 50% of the upfront and trailing commissions in cash-back, deposited directly to your chosen account. The only time we would ever ask you for money is if you needed to pay out your loan in less than 24 months, and the bank requested a return of the upfront commissions.

In other words, if you're planning on paying back your loan in less than two years, then you might not want to take advantage of this deal. However, if you want to change your mortgage after two years, we can help you all over again!

How Do Trailing Commissions Work?

Banks offer brokers ongoing "trailing commissions" as ongoing monthly payments which are paid on the loan amount owing to the bank less and surplus or money in an offset account. We get paid these monthly and you receive 50% of these every month into your nominated bank account for as long as they are received. That means more money in your pocket every month!

How Does Insurance Cash Back Work?

Petty much the same as with home loans. We will obtain the required information and present options that fit your requirements for the best value. Once we receive the commissions from the insurance company, you will receive 50% of the upfront and 50% of the trailing commissions.
